  • What is a Handyman? - Our handymen are multi skilled and come equipped with  tools and accessories. They are smart friendly and professional.

  • Never heard of us? - We have been around for 15yrs years now and continue using the web to enable us to bring our great service to your door. Give us a try - we promise you won't regret it. We are hard working and determined to not only make this business a continued success, but to ensure customer satisfaction with every job.

  • When can we come? - We are not an emergency service, however we will do our utmost to meet your needs should an emergency occur! We will do our best to arrange a convenient day and time to complete any work. Please note we are available evenings and weekends at no higher rate. The only time our rate increases is on bank holidays.

  • What areas do we cover? - Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, Verwood. If you live in an area that is local to the ones mentioned please feel free to contact us with your enquiry. Where possible we will accommodate.

  • Does the quote for larger jobs include the price for materials? - Mr Handyman will discuss each job with you and agree in advance what suits your needs. If there is a large material outlay, he will ask you to pay for materials in advance. You can do this directly to the company supplying -i.e fencing site or give money to Mr handyman to pay for and collect on your behalf.

  • What if I only want a small job done and I have already bought the materials needed? - If you want a cat flap installed for example and have already bought the cat flap you want, Mr Handyman will happily install it and only charge you for his labour (and any additional materials that are needed for the job where appropriate). Mr Handyman cannot in this circumstance take responsibility for the quality or suitability of the materials for the job. If he feels they are unsuitable he will discuss this with you prior to starting work.

  • Will I need to collect the materials for a job myself? - That is up to you. You can obviously save yourself some money by doing this. Mr Handyman is happy to collect materials for you, as well as continue to get bits that might be needed along the way but his time will be charged for.

  • How do I pay? - We accept cash or cheques and you can also pay by BACS. Details of how to pay are on all of our invoices. We also accept card payments. If you employ us for a larger job that has been individually quoted, Mr Handyman would discuss with you payment for materials to be ordered. If a job was to take more than one week, Mr Handyman would request a weekly payment for work done - this also would be discussed and agreed in advance.

  • What if during the work I want something slightly different or additional to the original quote? - Mr Handyman will endeavour to work with you to get the best possible result for your needs. If additional work is required, then a new quote will be drafted to include the additional work for your agreement. You will be under no obligation to accept the quote if you choose not to.

  • What if there are problems that were unforeseen? - Mr Handyman will always communicate with the customer about unforeseen problems that arise. Sometimes it is impossible to predict faulty equipment ordered, or issues that are uncovered once work has begun that couldn't previously be seen  .He will endeavour to overcome the problem as quickly as possible, but please understand that his extra time on extra jobs will be charged for. You obviously can ask Mr Handyman to stop work at anytime if this is impacting your budget and you cannot afford for him to continue at this time.

  • Will I have to wait in all day? - No, we will arrange a mutually agreeable time and will endeavour to be punctual. If for any reason there is a delay on our part we will ensure that we ring you to let you know.
